Paras Shah who has terrorized people by firing bullets will be dealt with as per the laws of the land”, said Dr. Minendra Rijal of Nepali Congress Party.
Dr. Rijal happens to be the caretaker Minister for Culture as well.
Addressing the Lumbini Tourism Fair, December 19, 2010, Dr. Rijal, a US green card holder, remarked that “anyone as such, be it Paras Shah or even our own party cadres will have to abide by the laws of the land”.
So he takes Rubel Choudhary, the Bangladeshi national as his party’s cadre?
“It is nothing but a conspiracy to fish in the troubled waters, Paras who preferred not to talk with the media in the past, is frequently interacting with the press to save him while he repeatedly refers to religion and nationalism”.
So what troubles him? He is also talking to the media every now and then.
Paras is a common citizen now.
Dr. Rijal also revealed that the government agencies are carrying out detailed investigation into his act to terrorize the people…he will have to face charges accordingly.
The same investigations must be carried against Rubel Choudhary. But will the government agencies dare to take care of this new Nepal Prince imported from Bangladesh? Perhaps not as has already become evident.
He also advised not to make Paras the hero as he and the institution of monarchy has already been rejected by the people.
Minister Rizal’s anger with the former Nepal Royalty reminds one of the days of 1960 when the then King Mahendra had staged a Coup d’état and dismissed the NC led government then.
B.P. Koirala was the country’s Prime Minister then.
The five decade long anger remains perhaps.
